How to setup custom recommendations for each product
You can customize the list of related products or product recommendations for each product in your store. Using the Shopify Search & Discovery app, each product can have a list of products you can choose to help customers find similar or to cross-sell:
You can configure the title and number of items to display under Related Products using the Product recommendations section.

Without customization
If you choose not to customize recommendations with the Shopify Search & Discovery app, Shopify will use its own algorithm or AI to display random products. Therefore, products that don't have custom products selected using the app will still display some random items from your store.
